    5 EASY EGG FACIALS AT HOME

    Egg is a wonderful and natural product that can be used for skincare. And, actually, facial masks with
    the use of an egg are very effective! Egg whites help brighten up and tighten the skin,
    while egg yolks are rich in vitamin A, pure proteins and nutrients!

    In this post we want to share with you five homemade, effective facial masks with the use of an egg:

    1) Egg facial
    First egg mask is very simple. No need of other ingredients – just apply one yolk of an egg on your clean face and when it’s half dry (in about 5 minutes), wash it off with lukewarm water. Your skin will be nourished, and will become very soft and hydrated. It’s good to make this face mask once in a while, when you don’t have time for complicated treatments and when you’re after quick results
    .
    2) Egg, plain cream and carrot juice face mask 
    Here is another homemade face mask with the use of wonderful natural ingredients: mix one egg yolk with a tablespoon of thick plain cream and add a tablespoon of freshly made carrot juice. Apply this mask to your face for about 5-10 minutes and then, wash it off with warm, and then cold water. Your face will feel refreshed and nourished; the contrasting water rinse at the end will help tone your skin and stimulate blood circulation.

    3) Egg white and corn flour facial treatment 
    Here is another homemade facial mask recipe, which is very simple to make, yet very effective: mix a tablespoon of corn flour with one egg white. Apply it to your skin and leave it on until the mask is almost dry (about 5 minutes). Wash your face with warm and then, cold water (warm and cold water contrast helps stimulate blood circulation in your skin, and also, cold water splashes at the end of facial treatments help close pores). This mask will cleanse your skin and will make your pores less visible.
    4) Evening facial treatment with egg yolk and olive oil
     Here is another very simple, hydrating homemade facial mask, which can be done before bed time: take one egg yolk, mix it with a tablespoon of olive oil (olive oil is very beneficial for your skin, but we will talk about it more in depth in another article) and apply this mask to your face and neck. Cover it up with slightly warmed up towel (make holes for your eyes and nose in your towel), in 5-10 minutes wash your face and neck with warm water.

    5) Honey, wheat flour and egg white face mask
    And here is the last variation of egg face mask: mix one egg white with a tablespoon of wheat flour and a teaspoon of honey. Apply this mask to your face and wash it off in 5-10 minutes. Your skin will feel very soft and velvety. And the best part – it’s all natural!

    ALL ABOUT HAIR SMOOTHENING - PROCEDURE,DURATION, SIDE EFFECTS, COST

    Hello Lovely Ladies...

    “Smoothening is quite useful for unmanageable or frizzy hair. I had wavy and somewhat frizzy hair. Smoothening and Straightening are quite similar..straightening just has 1 extra step in the procedure.
    The basic difference in the end result is that straightening will give you poker straight hair..it is 100% straightening but smoothening is about 70-80% straightening and it gives a more natural look.





    PROCEDURE:
    The process they use for smoothening is-
    • Wash,condition and blow dry
    • Apply cream evenly on hair. leave on for 20-30 min. This cream is the one responsible for making the hair straight.
    • Wash off cream. Iron hair using ceramic hair straightener. I'm sure you would have seen a straightening iron. They'll straighten hair with this to sort of seal the effects of cream applied.
    • Apply another cream for 15-20 min to further seal effects of ironing.
    • Wash off , blow dry and you're done.
    • You're not supposed to tie/pin/tuck your hair in any way using clips/band anything at all for 3 days and not let them get wet because the chemicals are still acting on them for 3 days. After 3 days, the salon will give you the first hair wash after which you can wash your hair every 2-3 days by products specially meant for your hair type. They also advise not to use oil for at least the first 15 days.

    HOW LONG DOES IT LAST:
    Straightened or smoothened hair retain their effect till they are cut off. So the new hair that'll grow out from your roots will have your natural hair wave/curl but the one once straightened will remain so. It takes 6-10 months for hair to grow out completely depending on person to person.

    SIDE EFFECTS: I used to be quite skeptical about chemical/heat treatments too but I figured it won't really harm my hair doing it once. I don't color my hair either so this is the first treatment for me. Repeated treatments over a long period of time does harm your hair but doing it once will not cause damage. The salon/ stylist will recommend L'oreal or some other good salon range products which you should use while you have straightened hair. Its best to stick to that.
    COST : Depending on where you get it from and the length of your hair, it can cost you anything between 4000-8000.Add to this Rs 1500-2500 for the products you will be required to purchase (shampoo + conditioner + cream + serum). Also straightening costs about Rs. 1000-1500 more than smoothening. Maintenance of hair is not difficult. You just need to wash every 3 days with shampoo, apply conditioner and cream and serum when they dry. I used to anyway use shampoo+conditioner+serum so the cream is just 1 more step in the routine which hardly takes any time. Do choose a good reputed salon for yourself so that they don't mess up the procedure in any way or don't use any sub standard quality products.

    MINT LEAVES HELP CURE ACNE SCARS.

    Mint leaves dry up acne and clean up pores. External application of mint leaves helps a great deal in fading the scars away. The best way to utilise mint leaves for treating acne scars is through a face pack. Here is a wonderful recipe for the Mint face pack.

    Things you will need
    • A bunch of fresh mint leaves
    • Some fresh water
    • A wide bowl
    • A blender

    Procedure
    • Thoroughly rinse all mint leaves and separate leaves from stems
    • Collect the leaves in a separate bowl Use a blender to blend these leaves until it forms a smooth
    • paste
    • Sprinkle water in between as and when required Store the mint paste in refrigerator
    • Once you’ve prepared the paste, you may use it directly on scars or team it up with other acne removing products. 


    We know different types of skins have different requirements. So here are the basic uses of mint leaves for oily, dry and normal skin.
    For Oily Skin For people with oily skin, it is important to control oil secretion to avoid acne.

    To use:
    1. Mix a teaspoon of mint paste with a teaspoon of fullers earth ( multanimitti ) or gram flour ( besan )
    2. Add rose water to form a smooth paste
    3. Use this as your regular face pack every evening to fade acne scars

    For Dry Skin For people with dry skin, it is important to maintain the moisture balance of the skin.
    To use:
    • Add few drops of honey to a teaspoon of mint leaves paste
    • If your skin is extra dry, put in some cream and use it as your face pack
    • Apply it on your face, make sure you concentrate more on the scars
    • Wash it thoroughly after 15-20 minutes


    For Normal Skin For people with normal skin, it is essential to maintain the skin balance and its health.
    To use:
    • Cleanse your face thoroughly
    • Apply the mint paste over cleansed skin
    • It is better advised to leave the paste on scars overnight
    • Wash it off with fresh water the next morning to see a refreshing face

    BREAD MASALA SANDWICH

    HELLO EVERYONE!

           This recipe is for all bread lovers.
    Its easy, quick and tasty sure a must try recipe. This is easy to fix up with very less effort and yet a tasty snack for kids. If you are packing up you can make it as a sandwich and enjoy them.

     Ingredients:
    • Bread - 4 slices
    • Carrot - 1 chopped finely
    • Capsicum - 1 chopped finely
    • onion- 1
    • Tomato - 1/2 finely chopped
    • Green Chillies - 1 finely chopped
    • Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
    • Tomato sauce - 3 tbsp
    • Ghee/oil  - to toast
    • Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp chopped finely
    • Oil - 2 tsp
    you can add any vegetables as your choices. if can also grate cheese on top.
    Method:
    • Heat oil, add onions and green chillies . Saute until onions turn golden brown. 
    • Add tomatoes,carrot,  and capsicum, saute till raw smell leaves.
    • Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and saute for 3-4 mins.
    •  Add a tbsp of tomato ketchup, give a quick stir.
    • Garnish with coriander leaves and switch off. 
    • Now the stuffing for sandwich is ready.
    • Toast bread slices until slightly crispy with a tsp of ghee/oil. 
    • Apply tomato sauce on one side then spoon out the vegetable stuffing and spread it on the sauce. 
    • Your open sandwich is ready.

    Oats Soup Recipe - Oats White Soup with vegetables

    Oats is such a healthy ingredient to kick start the day ! Do try this for yourself and let me know the feedback....am waiting to hear :)


    INGREDIENTS:

    • Oats - 1/4 cup
    • Water - 1/2 cup
    • Milk - 2 cups
    • Olive oil - 1 tsp
    • Carrot - 2 tbsp finely chopped
    • Garlic - 2 tsp
    • Onion - 2 tbsp finely chopped
    • Oregano / Any mixed herbs - 1/8 tsp
    • Pepper - a tiny pinch
    • Coriander leaves - 2 tsp finely chopped
    • Salt - to taste


    METHOD:
    1.Chop carrot,garlic and onions finely and make it ready. First heat a pan with olive oil - add garlic and saute till golden brown then add onion and saute till slightly browned then add
    carrots.
    2.Saute till raw smell of carrots leave then add oats and fry for 3mins.Then add water and let it boil till oats gets cooked.May be you can cover and cook.

    is still damp, not wet. Let stand for 15 minutes.

    effectiveness. For this deep treatment, try to seek out virgin coconut oil, although olive oil will also work well.
    Tips : In a saucepan, warm up oil until it is warm but not too hot to touch. You are going to be applying the oil to your scalp, so keep that in mind. Take oil off the heat and let cool for 30 seconds
    just to be sure.  Apply to hair in sections, using hair clips if necessary. If you're worried about excessive oiliness, don't rub the oil too much into your scalp. Wrap your hair in a shower cap or other plastic cover and let stand for at least 30 minutes. Rinse with warm water briefly and shampoo until oil is no longer pervasive, but not stripped from hair.

    INGREDIENTS:
    • 1 cup Grated jaggery or sugar (can reduce a bit) 
    • 1 cup  Rolled oats
    • 1 cup Heaped or 150 grams grated fresh coconut or frozen coconut
    • ¼ tsp. Green cardamom powder
    • 1 tbsp. Water
    • 1 tsp. ghee /coconut oil / vegetable oil or butter for greasing the palms
    • Ghee roasted Nuts and raisins as needed 


    METHODS:
    • Heat a heavy bottom pan and dry roast oats till they smell good. 
    • Cool this completely, powder in a dry blender to suit your taste coarsely or finely and keep aside.
    • To the same pan, add jaggery, water and coconut. Stir and cook till the jaggery or sugar melts off. 
    • Add cardamom powder, cook stirring constantly, till you see strings in the mixture.
    • Time to add the powdered oats. Stir well. Switch off the stove. Stir in the ghee, nuts and raisins.
    • Let the temperature come down, roll small portions to balls with greased palms.

    5 HOME REMEDIES FOR ACNE SCARS

    1# Sandalwood water - According to Ayurveda, sandalwood or chandan is a highly effective soothing and cooling agent, which makes it ideal to deal with skin problems
    Tip: Simply soak a piece of sandalwood in water for a few hours. Remove the wood, dry and store for reuse. Using a small ball of cotton, smear the sandalwood water slowly on the parts of the skin that has acne scars. Repeat every day for about a week and you are sure to notice a marked difference in your facial appearance. Alternatively, you can rub a piece of sandalwood on a wooden base with a little rosewater to make a thin paste. Apply a small quantity of this paste on your scar and leave it overnight. Wash your face the next morning with cold water

    2# Fenugreek extract- Fenugreek has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and soothing action on the skin that helps heal skin conditions and reducing acne scars
    Tip: Add a few seeds of fenugreek (methi) into a little water; boil for about 10-15 minutes. Allow the liquid to cool, strain out the seeds and using a cotton ball, apply the water to the acne scars. Do this regularly for about a week and you will see a reduction in the intensity of the scars’ appearance

    3# lemon juice: Lemons are rich in vitamin C that plays an important role in synthesis of collagen in the body. For this reason, regular use of lemons – both internally as part of the diet and externally on the skin – can help keep your skin healthy and free from scars
    Tip: Cut a few lemons and squeeze out the juice. Apply the juice with a cotton ball directly onto the acne scars on the face. Allow it to remain for some time and then wash with plain water. This tends to have a bleaching effect on dark scars. However, it is important that you avoid going out in bright
    sunlight when you have applied lemon juice because it can cause darkening of skin. You can also combine lemon juice with other ingredients for scar-reducing effect

    4# Neem leaves: Neem leaves contains alkaloids that give them distinct antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties. This makes them effective against a wide range of skin problems, from acne and eczema to ringworm. They also have the property of cleansing the body of toxins. Neem can help
    banish other beauty problems too.
    Tip: Place a neem leaf directly on the affected area for some time. Practice this regularly to see good results.

    5# Aloe vera: The gel-like substance obtained from the leaves of aloe plant has a magical ability to heal skin  problems.
    Tip: Wash a leaf of aloe plant and peel out its outermost green  layer to reach the inner jelly-like substance. Scoop out the jelly with a spoon and apply a little quantity directly onto the scarred tissue. Repeat this twice a day, leaving the gel on for about half an hour each time. Wash it off every time with plain water. Repeat for a few days and you will notice that your scars become undetectable and your skin feels tighter to get a distinct glow.     NATURAL AYURVEDIC HOME REMEDIES FOR WEIGHT LOSS

    hello everyone! this is my first blog about  beauty and health ! i have already blogging about easy kitchen receipes please check out. this. so here we go, nowadays Everyone wants to lose weight. Even the thinnest, tiniest friends of mine would talk about losing their teeny-tiny flab around their tummy. The most common topic I hear in dinner parties is about what to eat and what not to eat to lose weight. Imagine talking about dieting with delicious food on the table.
     But all I am saying is that “how to lose weight” is such a frequent topic at any party. If everyone knew the “magic mantra”, we would all be as chic and sleek like a model and the bitter fact is nobody knows what really works to get the weight loss going in the right direction.

    for any query

    all we need is just lemon,honey and ginger

    Ingredients
    1 tablespoon fresh ginger – crushed / minced
    Juice of 1/2 lemon
    1 tablespoon honey
    6 oz water

    Method:
    1. Bring ginger and water to a rolling boil for 3-5 minutes. Switch off the flame and let it cool down a bit.
    2. Mix in lemon juice and honey. Stir and drink on a empty stomach.

    Additional notes:


    1. Weightloss will happen if you couple this drink with healthy eating habit and regular exercise.UPDATE:
    Since few of my friends have reached out asking whether we can store this drink in fridge and use it for the entire week. The answers is NO. You can store just the ginger extract and warm it in microwave for 30-60 seconds and squeeze fresh lemon juice and honey before you drink. I read somewhere that honey shouldn’t be warmed. I follow that rule.
